Well, as many of you know, we just returned from a nice long road trip. We used Dani's wedding and the Memorial Day holiday as a good excuse to gulp down the gas prices and drive to Utah, Wyoming, etc..
Our first stop was in Utah. We stayed at Darrin's dad's house in Salt Lake City. While there, we were able to travel south a ways to see Darrin's borther, Troy's, new house. He bought 2.5 acres south of Provo in a place called Fairview. You can see pictures of Darrin and his brothers with shovels in hand, helping to fill in a trnench. There are also pictures of the new cousins--Declan (Troy's youngest) and Joshuah (Brandon's youngest). we went from there to Wyoming, by way of Stephan's house in the Logan area. We only got to visit with Steph for about an hour, but he had us laughing so hard we were in tears. I don't have pictures of Steph. Sorry, Steph, I guess it's not worth getting the camera out when the kids aren't there. (HA)
We travelled on to Sue's house in northern Wyoming. The house was full of people due to the wedding. Dani was married to Brandon Kuhns on May 31 in the Billings, MT temple. You can see many pictures from the wedding here. Most of Brandon's family was able to come out from WI for the wedding, but a new grandbaby was born the day after the wedding, so they quickly headed back. There are also a lot of pictures of Sue's kids and ours. There is even a picture of Mom. She looked great in the green sweater. It matches her eyes.
All in all, it was a safe trip and Grey was loving being able to drive 75+mph on those highways. I must say, I didn't mind giving up the wheel. I was able to enjoy the scenery more.
